J-DAPA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Smithfield, Rhode Island that was founded in 2007 with the goal of providing affordable access to the performing arts. We offer programs for ages 3 to adult which include dance classes in lyrical, ballet, tap, hip – hop, jazz and acro, as well as acting classes and singing lessons.

Attend Events
The best way to support our mission is to come see our shows and attend our fundraisers and other special events! We pride ourselves on producing high-quality theatrical performances that are affordable to all. Throughout our season, we host numerous fundraisers in order to offset production costs and allow us to continue producing the shows we love! Our staff spans a wide range of ages and backgrounds, and we truly believe that there is something for everyone in each of our seasons. We are immensely grateful for the support of our audiences.
Volunteer With Us
We are always looking for volunteers to assist with scenic construction and painting, front-of-house staff (ushers, raffle and concession sales) for shows, and more! Please send us an email if you are interested!
