We’re so happy to announce another show in our amazing season! The (One-Act) Play That Goes Wrong will open in early Winter 2023 at our premises on Enterprise Lane.

This is such an exciting project as we reach back into the world of straight plays for the first time in 10+ years. We’ve got an amazing production staff lined up for this show and we can’t wait to make you laugh until you cry.

The One-Act Play That Goes Wrong follows a real production team and cast as they open their murder mystery production of “The Murder at Haversham Manor.” Instead of having a smooth opening though, everything falls to pieces. Over the course of the production, you’ll watch bad go to worse – and you’ll laugh the entire time.

While you may not have heard of this show before, you may be surprised to learn that the longer two-act version of the show won the Olivier Award (London’s version of the Tony Awards) for Best New Comedy when it first premiered on the West End in 2014. When it came to New York City a few years later, it won the Tony Award for Best Scenic Design of a Play. Its success on stage led to several TV specials that aired on BBC including “Peter Pan Goes Wrong,” “A Christmas Carol Goes Wrong,” and finally the 2019 TV series “The Goes Wrong Show,” all of which brought this hysterical writing to the silver screen.
