Sing for a Future of Hope: A Cabaret (Auditions)

J-DAPA is seeking singers, musicians, actors, and dancers for our annual cabaret! This year’s theme centers around hope – and we encourage auditioners to think about what that means to them and choose a song accordingly. The classic musical theater “I want” song might be a good starting point for ideas. All funds raised will be used for improvements to J-DAPA’s facilities and for our future theatrical productions!

Auditions are open to ages 9 through adult (no upper age limit!) and will be held by appointment only – sign up for a 5-minute time slot at the “Audition Sign-ups” link on this page. Please prepare the song or act that you would like to perform. If there are any repeated songs, or if our production team feels that a different selection might better align with the show’s theme, you may be asked to make another selection. All acts should be around 2:30 or less in length – any exceptions will be at the discretion of the production team, and we can work with you during rehearsals to find a suitable cut of a longer song.
